Choose cookware made of stainless steel ,clay ,ceremic glass or cast iron instead of nonstick pans which at high heat can release harmful perfluorochemicals .Also its important to consider how you store food .Dioxions and phthalates can leach from soft plastics .Store food in stainless steel or glass jars with rubber seals instead of using plastic wraps and containers.

Really informative! My Mom too keep telling me not to use plastic bags(like zipouch) or pet jars for keeping food items.I read somewhere that non-stick coating is carcinogenic too. Thanks for sharing:)

all your post are such good information....i avoid plastics and nonsticks but then i feel it'd have been better if i was able to design my own steel n glass containers so than they accommodated well in the fridge....
plastic wraps and container become so convenient that people blindly use them ......at room temperature they may be harmless but for freezing and warm food ( or cooking in microwave)it's so very harmful.....keep up the posts dear ...i am following you....
BTW my comments has got bigger than your post....lolz.
I appreciate for your informative post. Usually I store food in pet jars but sometimes I keep in plastic box which I should not do.
